Carolina Nino began her journey in Fashion with EcoEquitable in 2016 as a beginner sewing student, volunteer, and member of the production team. She later completed the Professional Design and Sewing Skills program. She made updated courses  in Richard Robinson Fashion School . Prior to joining EcoEquitable, she worked as an interior designer in Costa Rica, where she also held roles in marketing and sales management, gaining strong business and strategic skills.
Carolina is multilingual, speaking French, English, Spanish, and Italian.
Deeply committed to community involvement, Carolina has volunteered extensively across various initiatives. Her guiding values of honesty, compassion, kindness, generosity, and empathy inspire her passion as a volunteer. Her experience includes fashion show production and modeling, supporting events such as Runway for Hope Ottawa (editions 14–17) Several Embassies and OrKidstra performances.
In her spare time she is passionate about wellness, enjoying yoga, meditation, Pilates, biking, and reading.
Currently, Carolina serves as Program Coordinator and Manager of the Fabric Boutique at EcoEquitable. She leads daily operations, oversees volunteer coordination, and works to strengthen the boutique’s structure and impact. Her mission is to build an inclusive and effective team while supporting the organization’s broader goal of empowering newcomer and immigrant women.
